About the Burrows Drive Day @ SMSP

Peter Burrows conceived The Burrows Drive Days many years ago as an opportunity for himself and a few mates to enjoy their cars on a closed circuit. The day was resurrected in 1999 and over the past 15 years has grown to become one of the most popular track days in NSW for owners of prestige sports cars. The event has become patronised by not only owners of this exotica, but also the manufacturers of these cars who recognise the day as an opportunity to allow their clients to experience their machinery on the arena for which they were created.

The Burrows Days are about learning more about you and your vehicles capabilities. They are non-competitive and set up for people to drive their own road registered vehicles on the circuit under strict on track rules and regulations.

Added to this is the instruction provided from our experienced team of coaches who will sit alongside you and help with not only understanding the track and its intricacies, but also your car and how to handle it at speed. It’s all about providing great feedback and helping you feel more confident on the circuit.

So, if you’re fed up with speed cameras and traffic, this is your chance to go and play!

Structure
The event starts at 8:00am with barista served coffee and compulsory drivers briefings. We operate three driving groups – New, Intermediate and Advanced Drivers – with 20 or so drivers allocated to each and rotating through 20 minute on track sessions. There is a catered lunch break from 12:30pm and the track closes at 4:30pm.

Bookings
The Burrows Days are strictly invitation only. To determine your eligibility, please contact luke@longroup.com.au at your convenience.
